Description
L-Tetrahydropalmatine is an alkaloid discovered in the root of Corydalis yanhusuo, which is used as a herbal pain reliever.
L-Tetrahydropalmatine has been shown in animal studies to have a variety of impacts, including antagonizing the supraspinal dopamine 2 receptor and reducing stress-induced anxiety in rats.
In rats, L-tetrahydropalmatine also protects against ischemia-reperfusion damage.
