Description
Syn-Ake is a compound created by the Swiss pharmaceutical firm Pentapharm that mimics a protein found in Temple Viper venom. Waglerin 1, the protein responsible for paralyzing the target of the snake’s bite, is injected through the hollow fangs of the snake. Syn-Ake works by preventing sodium ion uptake in muscles and keeping them relaxed to avoid the formation of deep expression lines, according to Pentapharm. That is, it functions similarly to Botox. Pentapharm performed a 28-day trial of a Syn-Ake cream on 45 volunteers, and 67% of the people claimed that wrinkle size was reduced by up to 52% after applying the cream twice daily.
Application:
The Syn-AKE peptide acts by reducing muscle cell contraction, smoothing mimic wrinkles in a short period, and is reversible. It is useful in anti-aging products and wrinkle treatment products, especially those targeting expression lines.
Recommended dosage: 1-4%
